C&C GROUP – BULMERS/MAGNERS BRAND & PACKAGING REFRESH
Undisputed market leader Bulmers rewrote the rules of the cider landscape in the 90s, with its iconic over-ice proposition, overturning long-held negative attitudes towards the category. But over time, and amid increasingly aggressive competition, the brand struggled to stay relevant to younger drinkers. Our task: Reboot the brand’s brilliance.
We stripped away decades of visual clutter, rebuilding a design system anchored in the brand’s most essential and distinctive assets. The approach was deliberately pared back - cleaner lines, refined structure, and a bolder, more purposeful shelf presence.
The result is a confident return to clarity, rediscovering the appetite appeal that made Bulmers/Magners the original category leader.
